Master of Science in Engineering - Ethical Hacking Course

The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) is a unique, collaborative program that bridges the gap between academic
depth and industrial application. By pooling the expertise of Switzerland’s eight leading Universities of Applied Sciences,
it offers a level of specialization and networking that is difficult to find in a single institution.

Starting from Spring 2026, the MSE program has expanded its curriculum to include a new Supplementary Module on Ethical Hacking (EVA_CTF). This module is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in practical cybersecurity methods, attack and defense workflows, and CTF-style problem solving. The first students have officially started the Supplementary Module Ethical Hacking (EVA_CTF) in our Master of Science in Engineering program. The course is structure that students can participate in many Capture the Flag (CTF) events, both on-site and online,
to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. The course also includes a final presentation where students will have
the opportunity to present their learning outcomes and share their experiences. To forster a strong community and
encourage collaboration, students will also publish their write-ups on the Pizzapwn.ch blog, sharing their insights and solutions with the wider cybersecurity community.
